1306 - Ten Years Later September 25, 2010

The Dance Center of Columbia College Chicago marks 10 years at its current location, 1306 S. Michigan Avenue, with a free, 13-hour celebration showcasing regional dance artists and ensembles throughout its three-story building. The day includes fully produced performances, studio showings, a triple-bill FamilyDance Matinee, Poonie's Cabaret, participatory workshops and classes, site-specific performances, photo exhibits and media installations. Anchoring the evening in the theater is the Chicago Dancemakers Forum Stage, featuring artists who have created work through CDF, a consortium that The Dance Center has been part of since its inception in 2003.
