1st ANNUAL 5K POWER WALK FOR DR CONGO November 21, 2009

More than 6 million people have died since 1998 in this conflict. Half of these deaths are children under the age of five. For women in Congo, brutality and violence is an every day reality.
We are walking to empower women and chilren of DR Congo. Please join us as we walk to send a simple message: The lives of Congolese women and children are as precious as our own. They have waited far too long.
