2008 Komen Phoenix Race for the Cure October 12, 2008

Join us for the 16th Annual Komen Phoenix Race for the Cure and imagine a world without breast cancer! The Race for the Cure is the largest 5K run/walk in Arizona. Up to 75% of all monies raised stays within our local community, supporting breast cancer screening, treatment and education programs in central and northern Arizon, and 25% funds the Komen Award and Research Grant Program.

The 2008 Komen Phoenix Race offers something for everyone beginning with a new celebration for breast cancer survivors, multiple race events and family-friendly entertainment and activities.

Race events include the 1 Mile Run/Walk, Breast Cancer Survivor’s 5K Run, 5K Run, 5K Walk, Kids for the Cure® and Sleep In for the Cure®.

Race Entry Fees:

Breast Cancer Survivors
$20 thru Race Day/Oct.12

Adults (Ages 13+)
$25 thru Sept. 17
$30 Sept. 18 – Oct. 11
$35 Race Day/Oct. 12

Kids for the Cure® (ages 0-12)
$15 thru Oct. 11
$20 Race Day/Oct. 12
