2009 North American International Karate Championships September 26, 2009

The world renowned North American International Karate Championships and the Spectacular Night Time Extravaganza will be held at Seaholm High School on 2436 West Lincoln Road in Birmingham, MI.

We have spent a lot of time working as hard as we can to bring this event back to the metropolitan area. As most can recall this was one of the most prestigious martial arts tournaments in the country.
This event is gaining momentum and will continue to grow, with expectation of attracting hundreds of competitors of many different types of martial arts, school representatives, and spectators throughout the United States and Canada. The North American International Karate Championships not only exemplifies the growing popularity of the martial arts it also represents the cooperative spirit in the community.

This year’s event will included the Spectacular Night Time Extravaganza which will start at 7:00 pm sharp. The night time super show will have Junior and Adult Black Belt Grand Championship Finals in Weapons, Forms and Sparring, Demonstrations, The Team Michigan vs. Team Ohio Challenge and Speed Fighting™ (the Drag Racing of Point Sparring)!!!!! We are looking forward to seeing everyone in beautiful Birmingham, MI..
