2009 Senior Appreciation Day March 14, 2009

The 2009 Senior Appreciation Day is organized by Kurt Hinds of Around the Home Maintenance Services to promote the Center for Disease Control's Injury and Fall Prevention program for Seniors.

Along with regular vision screenings, health/prescription checks and regular exercise, routine home maintenance can help keep seniors safe from falling, which is the primary source of injury among seniors.

The 2009 Senior Appreciation Day at the Portland Church of the Nazarene will include door prizes, educational materials and participation from Portland area businesses that serve individuals aged 50 and up.

Admission to the event is FREE of charge.
