2011 Patriot Day Celebration September 10, 2011

Now being called the "Largest Patriot Day Celebration in the Southwest," this event honors the civilians and first responders who sacrificed their lives on 9/11. It also recognizes the families of service personnel who offer invaluable support for their loved ones as they serve their country. Highlights will include an airshow by the Deer Valley War Birds, a ceremonial motorcycle ride, and appearances by dignitaries such as Sen. Jon McCain, Governor Jan Brewer and Phoenix Mayor Phil Gordon. The event concludes with a concert by Joe Nichols, with an appearance by pop legend Tony Orlando. Proceeds benefit scholarship funds for the dependents and spouses of active duty military personnel.
