2012 Marian Filice Youth Piano Competition and Music Festival March 3, 2012

The 7th Annual Marian Filice Youth Piano Competition is an opportunity for local young pianists to perform and compete for scholarships and the opportunity to participate in the annual Bach to Blues concert. At the conclusion of the auditions, finalists will be named to perform in the evening competition. Contestants are expected to have prepared two contrasting pieces from the classical repertoire performed by memory (Baroque, Classical, Romantic, or Contemporary). The winner of the Senior Division competition will be invited to play at the Gavilan Bach To Blues Concert on March 17.
