The 24 Hour Photomarathon event is scheduled to begin on Saturday, July 14, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. at Agora. The event will end at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 15, 2007. This event is open to anyone interested in photography. Check-in for this event will begin at 3:00 p.m. at Agora, located at 1712 Westheimer Road, in Houston. Upon arrival, please check in with the Event Director and receive proper identification, the first 2 themes. 2 hours later, you will receive 2 themes every 2 hours until 10:00 p.m. At the 11:00 check-in, participants will receive 8 themes. At 9:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., and 1:00 p.m., participants will receive 2 themes at each check-in. Participants will submit 2 pictures per theme for a total of 48 images in 24 hours. Remember, the topics are confidential until revealed. By no later than 3:00 p.m., all participants must submit their camera's memory card to the Event Director at a place to be determined. Participants should plan to have their desired entries ready for submission by 2:30 p.m. The photographs will be judged based upon the creative ideas, as well as photo composition. Remember, photoshopping is permitted but must be performed prior to turning in your memory card.
