2nd Annual Mini Fundraiser for the Cristian Rivera Foundation July 14, 2011

Latin Kitchen will be hosting the 2nd Annual Mini Fundraiser for the Cristian Rivera Foundation, to help find a cure for Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG), on July 14, 2011.

John “Gungie” Rivera, a renowned NYC event promoter, created the Foundation six months after his six-year-old son Cristian lost his two-year battle with the rare brain stem tumor. The mission of the Cristian Rivera Foundation is to not only fundraise, but also spread awareness for DIPG and to hopefully one day find a cure.

Music for the event will feature Foundation Committee members such as DJ Tedsmooth, DJ Lucho, and DJ Wreck as well as some surprise guests. Free shots and appetizers are included; along with $5 Sangria throughout the night after a $10 donation is made.
