Graphiti School of Animation – headed by Mr Ram Mohan also known as Father of Indian Animation has announced a launch of 2yr Part Time Program – GCAT Premium a part time course, for Animation aspirants covering Animation Production.
G CAT Premium, is a premium animation course, especially for students or working professionals who have interested to take animation as a career in upcoming years, can take up GCAT - Premium part-time course. The duration of this course/program is 2yrs; it’s well intensified as some other animation courses running at Graphiti School of Animation. It’s divided into Foundation, Specialization an Production.
Foundation: -
To train the students on fundamentals of design and visualization and take them through a life cycle of animation production, so as to help them select an area of specialization in animation.
Dual Specialization :-
It has an added advantage of proposed Dual specialization.
1. Modeling & Texturing
2. Texturing & Lighting
3. Animation & Rigging
4. Lighting & Compositing
Production
In this term, the students work on live projects. This ensures that the students are well exposed to the working methodology and culture of an Animation Studio. The expertise level of the students also increases, thus making them ready to work professional in an animation outfit. In the last one month of the term, the students make their show reel which they will use in interviews at other studios.
As the GCAT Premium course is extended to 2 year, the amount of time spent by a student with learning animation is quite extensive. Students are exposed to more in depth of Animation Production and thus are equally qualified for Dual Specialization.
At the end of the course, the student will have a thorough understanding of the Animation principles, art and technology of animation. The student will have a sound knowledge of all the areas of animation production with a specialization in two of the animation production. Also the student will be Industry-ready to work in any animation studio from day one of the employment.
