35th Tallahassee Marathon & Half Marathon February 1, 2009

Come run Florida's longest annually held marathon!! Half marathon also. Presenting sponsor is Capital Regional Medical Center & benefitting the FL Chapter of the American Lung Association.

The weather is typically perfect (around 40 F at the start) & the volunteer support is awesome. The course begins and ends at FSU, with 18 miles of the course being on the scenic, shaded St. Marks Trail. Flat & fast out-&-back, this is an excellent Boston qualifier for those striving for that goal.

Championchip timing. Pasta dinner night before with guest speaker Gary Cohen. Cash prizes for top finishers. Ceramic wares for winners & age group 3 best finishers.
