36th Annual Pork, Peanut and Pine Festival July 16, 2011

Celebrate the region's most treasured resources. Listen to live entertainment and explore historic grounds. At 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, go back to simpler times, when life was a little slower. Watch a parade of antique cars along with local civic groups, boy scouts and local law enforcement groups. Naturally, the highlight of the parade will be Mr. and Miss Peanut. And don't miss the BBQ cook-off. There's plenty to do for all ages. This is one of Virginia's premiere festivals. It's only $5 per person, and kids under 12 get in free.
