3rd Annual CANFEST – Reno International Canned Beer Festival! November 12, 2011

The 3rd annual CANFEST is officially announced! The original canned beer festival will take place inside the Reno Ballroom next to the Silver Legacy Resort and Casino on Saturday November 12th. Doors open at 5:00 to 6:00 pm to VIP guests and 6:00 to 9:00 pm to the public. Buckbean Brewing Company and Abbi Public Relations will once again turn Reno, Nev. into the center of the canned beer universe. Heavy hitters of the industry, including Oskar Blues and Anderson Valley, are expected to return for another celebration of all things canned beer.

This year's festivities begin with a beer dinner inside the Silver Legacy Resort and Casino on Friday November 11th to announce the winners of CANFEST's competition and give patrons a chance to taste the winning brews. The CANFEST main event kicks off the next evening inside the Reno Ballroom. Dozens of breweries from around the world will be present to rain down delicious beers from a can on every thirsty attendee. Many of the breweries featured don't distribute their brews even remotely close to the west coast, making CANFEST one of the premier beer events this side of the Rockies.
