5th. Annual Chopin in Barboursville piano concert featuring young piano sensation Julia Kociuban-2008 Winner of National Piano Competition of Poland and numerous international tournaments. Julia will perform in Miami, Coral Gables, New York, Philadelphia, Akron and Barboursville, VA during her US Tour. Ms. Kociuban will play works by Chopin, Brahms, Mozart and Liszt. This black-tie optional event will include hors d'oeuvres by famous "Palladio" Restaurant and Barboursville wine. All proceeds will benefit the Chopin Foundation of the US. Number of seats limited! Julia was amazing. Made the big Yamaha thunder and whisper, had us on our feet right to the end of a demanding program!

This is one of a kind event, where you have an opportunity to enjoy classical music the way composers intended it to be listened to. Small venue, fantastic acoustics, great wine, superb food, beautiful ladies wearing gowns and handsome men in tuxes. Opportunity to interact with the artist and other concertgoers after the performance.
Truly a sensational young pianist in her only performance in Virginia! Worth the drive from DC (80 miles), Richmond (50) or any place in between.
