A Christmas Cantata – The Music Ministry of Prospect Church – Concert Choir December 18, 2011

The Music Ministry of Prospect Missionary Baptist Church is proud to present Prospect’s Concert Choir in a Christmas Cantata – “An Evening in December with Carols and Classics,” created by Tom Fettke. This is a treasury of choral work and scriptures that blends the most cherished Christmas classics with favorite carols in powerful and unique combinations. Our festive, musical tribute, which will be presented at 4 p.m. on Sunday, December 18, 2011, has many favorite pieces that will highlight the joy and reason for the Christmas season.

Prospect Missionary Baptist Church is located at 2809 North Missouri, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma where Rev. Dr. Lee Cooper, Jr. is the Senior Pastor. Appearing along with the Concert Choir will be Wallace Johnson – Tabernacle Baptist Church, Khepra Khem, PhD – Evangelistic Baptist Church of Christ, Paul Hale – Emmanuel Baptist Church, Cordelia Bennett, musician, St. James CEM, Arcadia, Oklahoma, and an orchestra ensemble featuring students from the University of Central Oklahoma Music Department.
