A Christmas Carol Radio Play December 4, 2010

Keeping a Madison tradition alive, Madison Theatre Guild brings 'A Christmas Carol' to the Drury stage as a radio play in December. A novella by Charles Dickens, 'A Christmas Carol' was published and released on December 19, 1843. Nearly a century later, it was first broadcast on the radio by Campbell Playhouse, starring Orson Welles and the Mercury Theater of the Air, on December 23, 1938.
