Join in for a day of photographic play in the foothills on the east slope of the Bridger Mountains. Expand your creative vision at this June 25th field workshop in a breathtaking private location.

You'll shoot alongside local photographer Bob Sisk and Tamron USA Rep John Carson. Doug Bundren of F-11 Photographic Supplies will be on hand to share photo tips and assist workshop guests in the field. All participants receive creative direction and plenty of personal attention.

At the workshop, delve into the famous Tamron lens trunk and try something new from the huge selection of lenses flown in just for your use. Next, choose the right camera support. Try out a Manfrotto or Gitzo tripod for the day (or try several!), courtesy of F-11 Photographic Supplies. Learn some simple lighting tricks using handy reflectors and diffusers--provided for the day--that give your images 'WOW!' status. This is a rain or shine outdoor event, so come prepared for sun, rain, hail, snow, biting bugs, grumpy grizzlies, wailing wolves, (wishful thinking about the latter two), and anything else that might come along.
Meet at F-11 Photographic Supplies at 5:30 a.m. to caravan to the location, about 30 miles from Bozeman. Travel is on your own and car pooling is encouraged. The field session runs until about noon, followed by a critique of the day's work. Bring enough water and snacks to make sure that you make it through the workshop conclusion (between 1 and 2 p.m).

The cost for this workshop is $89.99, and enrollment is limited to twelve photographers. Pre-registration is required. To reserve your space, sign up 24/7 at www.f11photo.com/adayonfairycreek.html, call 586-3281, or stop by F-11 Photographic Supplies, 16 E. Main, Downtown Bozeman.
