A Legacy for Iowa: Pollock's Mural and Modern Masterworks June 8, 2010

This on-going exhibition includes twenty-two of the most important paintings in the UIMA collection. Soon, a select number of new works will emerge from storage to join the installation. Each painting's distinctive qualities are explored, revealing each work as remarkable in its own right, while also suggesting how the objects and their makers interrelate to create a tapestry of complex and fascinating stories.
