A Night at the Opera - BHSU Johanna Meier Opera Theatre Institute June 25, 2011

Enjoy 'A Night at the Opera' Saturday, June 25 at 7:30 p.m. in the Clare and Josef Meier Recital Hall on the campus of BHSU.

This culminating performance of the Johanna Meier Opera Theatre Institute includes excerpts from a variety of operas including The Magic Flute and The Cunning Little Vixen, sung in English, and will be catered and staged.

Ticket price is $15 for the general public, $8 for children under 12, students, and seniors over 65. A catered pre-performance dinner is available at 5:30 p.m. in Meier Hall for interested persons. The cost for the dinner and opera is $25 for adults and $20 for children under 12. The dinner reservation deadline is Friday, June 21 and can be made by calling 642-6420 or by contacting Cami.Dohman@BHSU.edu. A pre-performance lecture will start at 7 p.m. Those attending the performance are invited to a free reception with the artists.

The Opera Institute is one of many unique experiences for music students and music lovers of all ages throughout the regular school year, as well as the summer.
