'A Walk in the Woods' is surprisingly comic drama by Lee Blessing. John Honeyman is an idealistic, but uptight American. Andrey Botvinnick is a humorously cynical Russian. In the summer of 1984, this unlikely pair finds themselves thrust together in Geneva, Switzerland - responsible for the very survival of civilization. Loosely based on the famous "walk in the woods" taken by arms negotiators during the Cold War, this is a surprisingly funny, and a particularly timely, account of two men coming to grips with what it means to be human.
