AAUW Used Book Sale - Downers Grove Branch June 18, 2009

Help raise money for scholarships by attending the 51st Annual Downers Grove Area Branch AAUW Used Book Sale.

The Sale Preview Night is a great chance for a first look at the books. Admission is $5.00. Please no children (this night only).

We have over 40,000 Sorted Books including Hardback and Paperback, Fiction and Nonfiction, many Children's Books, Father's Day books, and Curio books.
Some items of interest are Raphael's Madonnas, c1860 by James P. Walker; the 2 vol. Van Tassel Edition of The Sketch Book, c1895 by Washington Irving with original d.j. ; Howdy Honey Howdy, c. 1896, pub. 1905 by Paul Laurence Dunbar; New York Times Pictorial Portfolio of the World, c1922; and a Charles and Anne Morrow Lindbergh collection. We also have a children’s book house.

So please join us. All money raised will be used for scholarships and educational initiatives.
