Across the Blue Sea July 5, 2012

Across the Blue Sea features music of the Mediterranean area, specifically Israeli Armenian Greek and Turkish folk and sacred songs. In addition to the musicians in the Yuval Ron Ensemble, the concert will feature singer Hagai Batzri, a powerful Iraqi Jewish vocalist and rabbi who specializes in Middle Eastern style singing. The program will also feature two master gypsy musicians, Ferit Benli and Ali Durace, who specialize in Gypsy Roma Turkish music for their only appearance in Los Angeles. Additionally, the program will include dancer Maya G. Karasso who has danced with Sting on his desert rose concert tour. Come sing and dance with the Yuval Ron Ensemble LIVE!
