Act II Studio play “I’m Still Here”
Fundraiser for Alzheimer Society of Toronto sponsored by Retire-At-Home Services
“I’m Still Here”, a six-person drama based on real-life experiences, explores living with loved ones experiencing dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease.
Dr. Joel Sadavoy, a leading geriatric psychiatrist from The Cyril & Dorothy, Joel & Jill Reitman Centre for Alzheimer’s Support and Training at Mount Sinai Hospital, will also be on hand to answer questions about living with and personally caring for loved ones who are affected by Alzheimer’s Disease and related dementias.
The event is free to the public and will be of special interest to family and friends who are touched by someone with Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia.
In support of the Alzheimer Society of Toronto annual Coffee Break fundraising campaign.
The intent of “I’m Still Here” is to help people understand what it’s like to live with and care for those with dementia.
Dr. Joel Sadavoy will be able to educate and inform people about family caregiver support.
