Adult Classes - Introduction to the Artist Book December 9, 2008

Study the artist book through studio involvement, slides, lectures, and discussion. Learn how to design and bind a book using layers of paste painting on paper to create accidental imagery that contributes to the pages of the book. A unique personal symbol or sign and minimal text comprises the content of the book, based on the concertina structure. Students must bring a thoughtful list of ten traits that best describe themselves to the first class.
