Afghanistan Journalists April 19, 2010

Join us for a presentation by two journalists from Afghanistan, Monday, April 19 at 12 noon in the Student Union - Jacket Legacy Room.

The presentation will feature senior regional and international editor of Pajhwok Afghan News, Javed Hamim Kakar and senior reporter, Zainab Mohammadi.

The journalists will speak about Afghanistan and the stories covered there. Mohammadi will also discuss the possible cultural misconceptions the U.S. has about Afghan women and their role in society.

There is no charge for the event and all are welcome to attend. This event is collaboratively sponsored by the BHSU mass communication program and Chadron State College.
