Africa Rising: A Night Celebrating African NGOs

The World Association of Non-Governmental Organizations (www.wango.org) will host a premier event to honor outstanding accomplishments of selected NGOs in Africa. Proceeds from the event will be donated to these NGOs for their programs and activities as well as to WANGO's African Chapters for institutional capacity building.

Guest Speakers include:
* H.E. Mr. Ibrahim Agboola Gambari - Special Advisor to the Secretary General of the United Nations on the International Compact with Iraq and Other Political Issues
* H.E. Ms. Lila Hanitra Ratsifandrihamanana - Permanent Observer of the African Union to the United Nations.
