Finally, a popular and well-known African artist is making it all the way to Vancouver! Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 11th. This is a great opportunity to enjoy the contagious sounds of East African music and the soothing voice of one its contemporary ambassadors: KIDUM, who comes accompanied by a 7-piece band. The African music spectrum will be covered from East to West in an all-night celebration featuring the Congolese rumba band OKAPI MUZIKA as opening act, and even a dance demo at the very beginning of the night.
