Afternoon Chores November 11, 2010

Help the farm staff with afternoon chores. Help milk the cow by hand and compare that to how a milking machine works. Feed the afternoon hay and grain to some of the farm animals, and make sure they have clean water. Collect eggs in the chicken house and use some of them to prepare a farm snack. We will have worked up an appetite! - - - - Things You Should Know: - - Drumlin Farm Wildlife Sanctuary is a dynamic environment. Occasionally we may make programmatic changes to take advantage of new opportunities or to maintain the safety of the visitors and the animals we care for. - - Children should be the age indicated by the start of each program. - - Programs include time indoors as well as outdoors; please come dressed comfortably for our outdoor adventures!
