Alameda, Calif. Ice Cream Lovers Welcome New Baskin-Robbins Store to the Area

Local Community Member Opens Sweet Store and Supports Habitat for Humanity East Bay

Baskin-Robbins, the world’s largest chain of ice cream specialty stores, announces the introduction of its newest store in Alameda, Calif. As a result of Baskin-Robbins franchising and expansion efforts, the ice cream icon is welcoming Franchisee Grace Sheh to the Baskin-Robbins family in Alameda. To celebrate, the Baskin-Robbins at 2601 Blanding Ave. will host a Grand Opening event on December 4, 2007 from 6 – 8 p.m. Grace Sheh will show her commitment to the community by partnering with Habitat for Humanity East Bay. The store will help support Habitat for Humanity East Bay by making a $500 donation to the worthy organization, as well as 20 percent of proceeds from the event. During the event, customers will enjoy samples of Baskin-Robbins frozen treats and participate in raffle prize drawings.
