About “ALEY”:
“ALEY” - 'An art hut' is the brain child of an individual Ms.Vani Manohar.
Aley is a platform for the rural and budding artists.
Lack of formal education coupled with poor financial background deprives them of due recognition. Aley supports them to meet the challenges in facing today’s dynamic world.There are number of artists who are giving up practicing art as it is not giving them their livelihood.
The uniqueness about Aley is in its functioning model. The artist has the complete freedom on all aspects and Aley is just a facilitator and provides ideas/suggestions and provides a platform to reach the market.
Aley conducts/participates in painting exhibitions. One exhibition called "Pratiksha" held in Chitrakala Parishat, Bangalore in May 2007 was a huge success.
Also an exhibition in Colombo,Sri Lanka opened up more opportunities for Aley.
About the Founder:
Ms. Vani Manohar, founder of Aley has a post graduate degree in Mathematics and by profession was a faculty for few years coaching IIT-JEE aspirants. After a brief stint in USA with her husband, she came back to India. Her flair for art and the urge to contribute to the society took the form of Aley.

Vani, kudos to you for your untiring effort to promote the upcoming Artists. You are doing great work to bring recognition to hitherto unknown Gems!
I really liked the simple but pleasing Display of the paintings at the Art Show at Oxford Bookstore in Jayanagar 5th Block.
