Alf Faddy - a forgotten Spitfire designer September 21, 2010

David Faddy tells the story of his father, Alf Faddy, who led the team which carried out the detailed design of the Spitfire, turning R J Mitchell's original concept into to a practical fighter aircraft. As well as his significant input on the Spitfire, Alf contributed to many other Supermarine designs. The event is open to all; a donation of £2 is suggested.
