Altered Landscapes delves into the natural formation of the Estes Park landscape and its alteration by humankind. In the exhibit, visitors can predict how alpine glaciers will carve the landscape, test their knowledge of ecological succession and visualize the Estes valley before the existence of its most prominent reservoir.
