Join our staff as we explore a man-made pond that teems with life, provided solely by Mother Nature. The focus of the talk will be on the life history of the different species of frogs found in the pond as well as the role they play in wetland eco-systems. We’ll also spend some time looking at the birds that frequent the pond and how they assisted in “greening up” this section of the park.
Meet at the parking lot overlooking the pond, about 0.5km west of the Sheldon Point Trailhead parking.
