American Flavors Concert~Strafford Wind Symphony May 1, 2010

Presenting a concert smorgasbord with an exciting line up of delectable talents. Accomplished pianist and UNH faculty member, Arlene Kies, returns for a 3rd time to perform a newly released (for wind ensemble) Gershwin piece.
Bass soloist Rev. Robert Thompson and soprano Jenni Cook perform pieces from Porgy and Bess, with Ms. Kies at the piano again! Rev. Thompson, Phelps Minister of Phillips Church at Phillips Exeter Academy, has been sharing his musical gift throughout the Seacoast area and across North America. Cook is a graduate of Bradley University and the University of Illinois. She is currently a faculty member of UNH and has worked in a variety of venues all over the world.
