Leon Fleisher was recognized at the 2007 Kennedy Center Honors as "a consummate musician whose career is a testament to the life-affirming power of art." He will present an evening of piano music and conversation about his life as a legendary pianist and how he overcame the obstacles he faced when he lost the use of two fingers in his right hand.
