Jeff O'Handley of Wildlife Learning Company of Hartwick, NY will read "Owl Moon" to the families attending and then will allow everyone to touch the birds he will bring with him. (Billy the Barred Owl and a red-tail hawk.) This evening is to help all present understand how important these birds are to our environment and the need to protect them.
This event is free to the public and weather permitting will be held on the Library's back yard.
