Anacapa Island: Celebrate Spring Among the Wildflowers March 21, 2011

Each Spring the Anacapa Island flora blooms in rainbows, ranging from the bright red of Indian paintbrush to the vibrant yellow of giant coreopsis. We may see dolphins, whales and many species of birds as we travel to the island. Note: participants must be in good physical condition - able to climb 150 steep stairs to the island plateau. Bring lunch, water and wear hiking boots. Meet at Island Packers at the Channel Islands Harbor, Oxnard by 9:00 a.m. Online registration available.
