The Anaheim Cinco de Mayo Fiesta has become one of the biggest events of the year for many Orange County residents. This year we will be celebrating our 40th year in “bringing our community closer together through cultural experiences.” The fiesta was created to promote Hispanic/American cultural activities in efforts to ease the tension in our communities. The festivities include live music, four day carnival, food booths, and live entertainment. It has evolved into one of Orange County’s oldest Cinco de Mayo celebrations, with more than 100,000 spectators in attendance. The fiesta will be held on April 29, 2010 through May 2nd, 2010 at La Palma Park located on the corner of Harbor Blvd. and La Palma Avenue, in the City of Anaheim.
The Anaheim Cinco de Mayo fiesta awards a $1000 scholarship and a FREE all expenses paid trip for 2 people to Cruz Azul Hidalgo Mexico. Interested ladies must meet the following criteria:
15-21 years of age, live in Orange County and attend a high school or college/university. For more information contact Cynthia Chew, Queen Coordinator at 714-767-4241.
