Annual Kid’s Fishing Derby
August 30, 2009
The Ellisville Elks is sponsoring a free kids fishing Derby on August 30th
from 12:00pm-3:00 pm. This is a free and open to all youths 12 and under at New Ballwin Park. There will be awards for such categories as: most fish caught, largest fish, and smallest fish. Hot dogs and sodas will be provided. Please bring your own pole, as there are limited poles available. A Missouri Wildlife and Conservation Instructor will conducting safety and answer questions at 11:00am.
Rules & Regulations
1. Fishing begins promptly at noon.
2. Catch and Release ONLY
3. ALL fish must be measured and signed in when caught by the derby entry. The derby entry must have his or her adult sponsor present at the time of weigh in.
4. Fish must be caught (hooked and landed) by the entry.
5. Awarded for the most caught, largest fish and smallest fish.
6. No child will be allowed to participate without an adult present at all times.
