Nonprofits have been challenged and blessed with the onset of new media tools such as blogs, social networks, mobile technology & more.

With so many options and rapidly changing trends in new media, how do you choose the tools that are right for your organization? Wondering how you can leverage new media tools with limited staff time?

OneWorld invites you to a panel discussion with experts in the world of nonprofit communications who will share success stories and lessons learned in planning new media strategies and leveraging tools to reach specific audiences. Bring your questions and challenges to contribute to the conversation and get feedback.

Rachel Macy, OneWorld U.S. Intern and a student at University of California Berkeley, has been interviewing nonprofit gurus and professionals about how to integrate new media in communications and fundraising strategies. Rachel will moderate the discussion between the following nonprofit experts and professionals:

o Robert DuBois, Marketing Associate at Global Giving

o Susan Finkelpearl, Online Strategy Director at Free Range Studios and Graduate Student of Digital Technologies in Communications at Johns Hopkins University

o Alan Roseblatt, Associate Director for Online Advocacy at CAPAF, founder of the Internet Advocacy Center, and adjunct professor at Georgetown, Johns Hopkins, and American Universities

o Robin Sidel, Communications Officer of Online Activities with Kaiser Family Foundation
