Join Susie Bartz of the Dibblee Geology Center on an easy 1.5 mile geology walk on the sands of Arroyo Burro Beach. We will discover various erosional features such as water gap, landslides, and sand formation as well as animal nests in geologic features, wave-cut terraces, tidepools, fossils, folds and faults in rock beds and much more! Bring water, hat, jacket, and shoes that can get wet or covered in tar. Meet at the Arroyo Burro Beach parking lot at 3:45p.m. by the little red flag about 100 feet to the left of the steps.
