Houston, Texas - BOX 13 ArtSpace is pleased to present four exhibitions opening August 6, 2011, 7 - 9:30PM. In the front downstairs gallery, Culture Laboratory Collective develop works that elaborate on a sentence provided by artist and writer Noah Simblist in Response. In Sentition, Joe Meiser presents sculptural and performanace-based objects connected with his acute awareness of the physicality of his existence in the Downstairs Back BOX. In the Window BOX, Jonathan Leach exploits the vibrant visual language of roadside patterns and colors in his installation, Trigger. In the Upstairs BOX, the Houston Art Scouts present objects created during and inspired by their weekend of camping and community in Nohegan East.
The exhibitions continue through September 10, 2011.
