Art Hop (Expanded) June 5, 2009

A collaboration between the Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo and Downtown Kalamazoo Inc., this is one of four EXPANDED Art Hops with over 50 different locations throughout the downtown. Retailers and office users, along with the traditional gallery sites, open their doors with special hospitality.

Art Hop provides an opportunity to interact with artists and their works in a fun and casual environment.
Brochures listing each participating artist and graphic samples of their works, along with map and location guide, will be available in print, but can also be accessed on line as a download.

With only two days away, our downtown merchants and gallery owners are readying themselves for an evening of great, downtown Kalamazoo hospitality. There's really nothing quite like it anywhere in Southwest Michigan.... or maybe the whole state? Downtown Kalamazoo brims with a vibrant and cool beat on all Art Hop nights, but the June event is a favorite, for sure.....Just come see for yourself. Bring a friend (it's a fun date night) or come down with a group of friends, OR just come by yourself and plan on bumping in to someone you know.
