Artists' Preview OPEN HOUSE March 12, 2010

A call for SWMO area Artists and Creatives to join us because we are Growing! Designed 2B Different, a Unique Items and Gifts Store in north Springfield, has recently been given the opportunity to expand, so we are actively seeking more Artists, Musicians, and other Creatives to partner with us right NOW.

To those interested in possibly joining us, consider this a personal invite to our Open House this weekend, Friday 5-7pm and Saturday & Sunday Noon-5pm. Stop in and check out not only our present store, but take a look at the anticipated gallery space we're working toward occupying.

Bottom Line, our mission is to help connect Community with Community in a variety of ways since we are all playing this game of life together! At Designed 2B Different, we offer customers original art and unique creations for their homes, offices, and gifts for their loved ones - all from LOCAL residents - in addition to hosting workshops and special community events.

It's a great place to expose your God-given talent(s)! We currently feature work from 14 local creatives, including jewelry, fiber art, stained glass, and photography, but we have room to add much more. My goal is to celebrate the inspiration of at least 60 individuals, and help people get to know them better.

Open 1 year last month, we're located on a commercial corner in a residential neighborhood with rich history, and word of mouth is proving to be the best way the public is discovering us! 2003 N Broadway Ave - the NW corner of Broadway & Atlantic. Come on over and check us out!
