Audition Announcement for “One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest” May 17, 2009

Auditions will be held for Ole Olsen Memorial Theater's first show of the coming season "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" to be directed by Debby Mullikin. The performances are the first two weekends in October and rehearsals will begin August 3rd. Auditions are being held on Sunday, May 17 from 6-9 pm at the Peru Depot. The script calls for at least 12 men, 4 parts that could be male or female, and 4 more female parts. There are large speaking roles as well as minor non speaking roles. Mullikin is casting early for a couple of reasons - "In this show the actors will really have to research and become the characters they play, most of whom suffer from mental illness. I want to cast the show and get the scripts in their hands well before we begin practicing, so we can be off book as soon as possible.
