Auditions: The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas May 16, 2011

Dust off your cowboy boots and head down to Renaissance Theatre this Monday and Tuesday (May 16 and 17 from 6-8pm) and audition for the high energy musical comedy, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas!

Written By Larry L. King and Peter Masterson, with music and lyrics by Carol Hall; this exuberant and bawdy musical comedy recounts a real-life story of small-town vice, statewide political sidestepping, and that Great American Pastime, sex. The Chicken Ranch, one of the better-known pleasure palaces in all of Texas, is frequented by governors, senators, and even victorious college football teams until a television watchdog turns his camera and his righteous indignation on Miss Mona's place.

Directed by Renaissance Theatre's Productions Manager, Gary Knight, with musical direction by Barry Norwood, and choreography by Jessica Alexander and Marianne Cook Windham, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas is sure to be full of energy, enthusiasm and mayhem! Don’t miss your chance to work with the talented Gary Knight and a host of other talented performers!

Looking for adults (18+) to fill around 30 roles. Guys and Gals of all ages. Acting, singing and dancing will abound, so polish up those boots!
