Barrel Tasting November 5, 2011

Barrel Tasting is truly one of the most spectacular events at the Vartanyan Estate Winery. It is the time of year when not only the tasting room is open, but also the production room, which allows you to get a better understanding of wine making process from start to finish, including of course a very unique experience – tasting from the barrels themselves.

During Barrel tasting you would be able to do vertical tasting of Syrah: 2006 (bottled) and 2008, 2009 from the barrels and Merlot: 2006 (bottled) and 2007, 2008 from the barrels to compare aging effect on the wines, as well as our other wines.

And as usually , we will ask you to vote on the wines we plan to release in spring of 2012.

Tasting fee is $ 5.00 per person and refundable with purchase of 2+ bottles per person. Wine club members are free.
