Bayou Vermilion Boat Tour May 10, 2011

Join a National Park Service ranger for a cruise along Bayou Vermilion. The Cocodrie is a traditional Louisiana "schoolboat" from the days when the best highways were bayous. Tours cast off from Vermilionville Heritage & Folklife Park of the Bayou Vermilion District, 300 Fisher Road in Lafayette (right next door to the Acadian Cultural Center at 501 Fisher Road). Tours run Tuesday through Saturday.
