Beard on Books presents Charlotte Silver's Charlotte au Chocolat: Memories of a Restaurant Girlhood August 8, 2012

On Wednesday, August 8th, author Charlotte Silver will visit the historic James Beard House to share stories of her enchanting upbringing at her mother’s beloved Harvard Square restaurant, Upstairs at the Pudding. Charlotte au Chocolat is a memoir dedicated to Silver’s glamorous foie gras-filled childhood, paying due homage to her unyielding mother Chef Deborah Hughes.
