Explore the farm and fields in search of fall berries and nuts. Have the chipmunks hidden them all? Visit with some seed nibblers and try your hand at being nature's nutcracker. Enjoy a berry nutty snack, listen to a squirrelly story and sing some nutty songs. - - All ages welcome, with a maximum of three children per adult." Backpack babies" (under 12 months and carried in a backpack or sling) are welcome free of charge, but strollers are not appropriate for the terrain we will cover. Please mention these participants when registering. Per person fee applies to each participant, both children and adults. The fee for children between the ages of 12 and 17 months is half the regular participant fee. - - Things You Should Know: - - Drumlin Farm Wildlife Sanctuary is a dynamic environment. Occasionally we may make programmatic changes to take advantage of new opportunities or to maintain the safety of the visitors and the animals we care for. - - Pre-registration is required. - - Children should be the age indicated by the start of each program. - - On the first day of each program, please check in at the Admissions Window, except where noted. - - Programs include time outside and will run rain or shine; please come dressed comfortably for the weather. - - In programs where there is a farm to food connection, snacks from the farm may be incorporated.
